Full disclosure—my cousin, Adam Herman, was in an editorial role at Media Magazine for a number of years in the mid to late 90’s. He knew I was hungry, being pretty fresh out of graduate school, and that I was trying to drum up gigs. He gave me these features. One of them is so dated it’s laughable now: it’s about sending media files through the internet, rather than trusting them to snail mail.
Interviews
In the early 2000’s, I was given the opportunity to have a byline in Media Magazine. I interviewed media heavies for their People Profile section. Here are samples of a few of the products. This role helped me to become comfortable as an interviewer: a skill which came in handy when executing podcasts for Solo Parent Magazine.
